The Heritage Centre opens from 1 April to the end of October on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10-4 and Saturdays from 10-Noon.
In 2006 there is a special display around a newsagent's shop, including saucy postcards.
The display on the Pluto pump now has two films which tell the story of the rescue and repair of the pump, also how the Pluto pipeline was laid and helped in the operations following D Day.
Other displays feature the story of the airport and Britten Norman, and the railway (1882-1953). |
